Project Description

Eliot Design & Build Ltd originally tendered for the above infill projects comprising 14 new dwellings across 3 separate sites in Plymouth and were delighted to have been awarded the contracts. The 3 projects were managed as individual contracts and formed part of the PCH urban regeneration programme in Plymouth.

Wren Gardens – involved the careful demolition of the existing properties that were found to be suffering from subsidence. The replacement dwellings have been designed and constructed to be fully disabled compliant incorporating dedicated passenger lifts.

Allenby Road – extensive demolition and remediation works were necessary to meet the Plymouth environmental officers’ strict recommendations.

Goodwin Crescent – these 8 new homes replaced the 6 former houses that were in need of regeneration.

As part of the overall community involvement, ED&B submitted a comprehensive Social Value Proposal and we are proud to have promoted this important concept by visiting local schools and raising the profile of construction in the Plymouth area.
